Last year ,which was my first biking-year, I only rode once or twice a week (see if it changes when my "seasonal registration" starts next week) and I never managed to remember the mileage I had last time I filled her up.
So I just went to the filling station every time before I started cruising the neighbourhoods. To ease the strange looks I got when I came in to pay the proud amount of DEMs 8,- or so, I always bought a packet of cigarrettes as well.
O.k., it's not the most healthiest way...
